The Maritime MultiPurpose Cooperative celebrated its 10th anniversary and held its annual general assembly last April 30, 2015 at the Penthouse of CRI Building, Quirino. The board of directors, regular and associate members were present in the event. A quorum was noted.

Ms. Elenita Mantalaba, a Special Lecturer at the PUP College of Social Sciences and Development, was the key-note speaker during the program. The assembly was also a venue for the board of directors to present the 2014 Financial Report and showed how the cooperative grew from an initial asset base of 3.31 million to 43.4 million. From an initial group of 15 cooperators in 2005, we have grown today to 177 regular cooperators and 3,116 associate cooperators. We ended 2014 with a surplus of PHP 7 million.

Raffle prizes that were at stake and a sumptuous dinner added color to the celebration.
